2013 Canberra Raiders – Off Contract
20 years old Shannon Boyd is a professional rugby player who represented Canberra Raiders team in the 2012 season of the National Rugby League competition played in Australia. The 193 cm tall bulky player is the second youngest ever to make it to the Canberra Raiders squad, the youngest person being Jack Wighton. His highly impressive performances in the Toyota cup earned him an early call up to the first grade team even before he completed his competitions in the under 20s circuit. Most of the experts in rugby have predicted a bright future for this young star. The 123 kg player is not under contract by any team in the year 2013. Although he has hit the lime light very early in his career, he is believed to be extremely humble off field.
